Convenient market shows "Inconvenient Truth"
On Saturday, December 16, at 6:00pm, Town Square Market on Jackson St. will be hosting a free viewing of “An Inconvenient Truth”, Al Gore’s documentary about global warming. MoveOn.Org has organized more than 1,575 parties across the country to show this inspiring film to thousands of people.This could be the tipping point moment for the climate crisis. But we need to send a message to Washington that they can't ignore: It's time to tackle global warming. We will be writing postcards to send to Mr. Gore and he will be taking them to Congress in January to show the concern of the American public. There will also be a conference call with him after the viewing.
