Castle Perilous ribbon cutting

After 17 years on The Island,
Scott Thorne and gang at
Castle Perilous Games have moved to the old WTAO building at 207 W. Main Street.
The Chamber of Commerce threw a Ribbon Cutting on Thursday, June 21st.

The aluminum cover around the old Bening Square building is being removed by the crew at Morgan Construction..... Expected to hake 10 weeks, the building will be painted, and have a new awning installed. . . . Restoring the old lady to some of her former glory.
Legend has it that former first lady Eleanor Roosevelt stayed there, when dedicating Devil's Kitchen Lake.
New at Newell House

Today, a crew of workers began the process of removing the aluminum cover on the windows and sides of the building of the Newell House (Bening Building), part of a major refurbishing effort by owner Dan Terry.
Rosetta-cana? Tropetta?
Ashley Wiehle reports: "Popular bookstore Rosetta Stone will be setting up shop in Tropicana Vintage Clothing, a block off the town square behind Longbranch Coffeehouse."
The store is owned by
Jessica Bradshaw, daughter of Paula Bradshaw and Green Party candidate for Governor, Rich Whitney.
